Based out of California, Nick Wagman is a member of the U.S. Dressage Olympic Team and recently rode in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on his horse Don John (DJ). Nick joins the podcast to share both the highs and lows that come with being a competitive rider dealing with previous injuries and show anxiety. Nick has proven to show resilience by overcoming any and all setbacks by continuing to do what he loves through hard work and vulnerability. Nick has represented the U.S. overseas in FEI Dressage Nations Cup competitions, including in Geesteren, the Netherlands, and in Compiegne, France as part of the bronze-medal winning team.

Cian O'Connor is a 42-year-old multi-medallist and one of Ireland’s longest-serving team members. He competes at the very top level of international showjumping across the globe. Having ridden in his first Nations Cup for Ireland at the age of 19, Cian has gone on to achieve a remarkable record in selections for the Irish team, with 128 appearances to date under his country’s flag. An Olympic individual Bronze medal-winner at London in 2012, Cian has maintained a high level of success, and in 2017 added a European Gold team medal and a European individual Bronze medal to his record. In June 2021, Cian was nominated for selection by Horse Sport Ireland for Team Ireland’s Showjumping team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where he was partnered by the Irish-bred Kilkenny who finished 7th overall.

Kristen is a former Vet Tech who left her job in 2020 to create Centerline Equine Clipping where she provides clipping and grooming services across South Florida. Kristen has FEI level grooming experience and can help horse owners with everything from clipping clean ups to full service grooming for horse shows or photoshoots. With her veterinary background and use of the best equipment on the market, Kristen is able to also help older horses or horses suffering from Cushing's Disease, Anhidrosis, and other health problems. Hayley Iannotti is an Auburn Equestrian alumni who currently works out of her childhood barn, Carriage Hill Farm under the leadership of Jane Fennessy. With a very successful junior career, Hayley earned titles in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings, and claimed Champion of THIS Medal Finals in 2014 and 2015. Hayley also earned a top-25 finish at USEF Medal Finals, and won South Florida Medal Finals and ribboned in Under-25 Grand Prix’s. Spending 2015-2019 on the Auburn Equestrian team, Hayley earned herself 3 National Championships and 2 SEC championships. Since joining the Carriage Hill Farm team Hayley has continued to help the instructional program that trains riders competing at an international level. Listen in!

Catherine Brock is an amateur equestrian who wanted a better way to track her riding activities and hold herself accountable for adding intention and purpose to every ride. This idea sparked the launch of Prospeqs, “the original video ride journal app” that allows riders, trainers and coaches to store videos, make notes, and chat about rides. Videos can be tagged and categorized for sharing and review and the app allows you to keep all your riding videos in one accessible place! The Secretariat Center provides education and training to former racehorses with a goal for moving towards new careers. Located within the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, the Secretariat Center teaches specifically about the assets and virtues of the remarkable Thoroughbred breed. A few weeks ago she had a horse win Best Turned Out at the WCHR Peter Wetherill Palm Beach Hunter Spectacular, which is arguably one of the greatest honors for a Hunter Groom. Caring for some of the nicest horses in the country, Kim understands the importance of keeping horses calm, clean, and ready for their peak performances at the show.
